KL Rahul (born 18 April 1992) is an Indian international cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and occasional wicketkeeper. Known for his elegant stroke play and calm temperament, Rahul is regarded as one of India’s most versatile top-order batsmen across formats. He made his international debut for the India national cricket team in 2014 and has since represented the country in Tests, ODIs and T20Is. Rahul has scored centuries in all three formats of international cricket and has also served as captain in several matches.
In domestic cricket, he represents Karnataka cricket team and has been a key performer in India’s domestic tournaments. In the Indian Premier League, he has played for teams such as Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants, leading Lucknow as captain. Rahul is admired for his consistency, adaptability in different batting positions, and ability to anchor as well as accelerate an innings when required.
